  • The church interior is shaped so that the ceiling structure compositionally forms a cross. This effect is achieved by  a flat roof spanning the space from the entrance to the domed area, cut by a skylight whose dynamic form is then  continued by the suspended ceiling structure in the sub-dome space. The entrance interior is further animated by a  series of elongated windows evenly arranged along the perimeter and by the changing play of daylight throughout the  day.
